SF Comedy Competition Champion

Big Sky Comedy Festival Finalist

SATURDAY, JULY 21 – 8pm Evening Performance

Born in Boston, Ellis Rodriguez is by far the funniest of nine children raised by loving immigrant parents from Panama. Living in a multi-racial, uni-cultural family gave him a unique perspective on life. He grew up speaking Spanish at home, English at church, and Ebonics in school.

Ellis spent his early twenties serving in the United States Marine Corps, but found his calling when he picked up a mic, entertaining anyone who would listen. Now, countless are listening and laughing. His commanding presence, charming personality, and hilarious material make him one of the best up and coming comics today. He is a favorite at comedy clubs across the West Coast including the Improv, Laugh’s Unlimited, Tommy T’s, PepperBelly’s, and the Laugh Factory. He has also performed in filmed showcases including Shaq’s All Star Jam, Laugh’s On FOX, and Comedy Central & Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City.  A smart and insightful performer, his comedy is appealing to any comedy audience.

Anthony K is a comic whose star is on the rise. With a wry, sarcastic outlook, Anthony K’s comedy gives hilarious voice to life’s annoyances and truths with a style that is authentic, relatable and satirical. Anthony’s comedic point of view is that of an old soul with a fresh, youthful perspective. His style is honest and real, earning him the respect of local and regional comics and the opportunity to share the stage with regional and national talents Rich Vos, Bobby Slayton, Deon Cole and Craig Shoemaker. He is a versatile, headlining entertainer, writer and podcaster whose appeal spans racial and gender lines, captivating young and old alike. He has worked at hallowed comedic institutions like the San Jose Improv, the Punchline and the Purple Onion in San Francisco, Laughs Unlimited and his hometown favorite, the Fat Cat in Modesto. Anthony was voted Best Comedian in Modesto, and was a top 5 finalist in the largest festival in the US (Big Sky Comedy Festival.)
