The Harrington Gallery is excited to welcome back the Pleasanton Art League (PAL) for their 18th Annual Fall Members’ Show from October 25 – December 20, 2025. Featuring approximately 75 works of all mediums, this annual group exhibition will showcase the diverse and talented work of PAL’s members. Artwork will be judged by Andrew Johnstone with awards presented to selected pieces at the reception.
The Pleasanton Art League (PAL), a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization, was founded in 1969 to encourage the progress and development of the creative talents of its members. Members include artists of all skill levels, from beginners, hobby artists, professionals, and art patrons. In recent years, PAL membership has reached over 200 members and continues to grow.

JUDGE:
Andrew Johnstone is a British artist now living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a fine art studio painter working on large canvases and portraiture. Johnstone was a faculty member at University of California, Berkeley, where he lectured and wrote the curriculum for the course “mural and decorative arts” and continues his calling to pass along his knowledge with The Big Picture Project, mentoring graffiti offenders towards “making without victims.”
ABOUT THE HARRINGTON GALLERY:
The Harrington Gallery features five group exhibitions per year, highlighting works by both established and emerging regional artists in a variety of styles, genres, and themes. A spacious yet intimate exhibition space comprised of two rooms, the gallery contains architectural structures and remnants of the original Firehouse #1 Engine Bay. Within the Firehouse Arts Center, there are two additional exhibition spaces within the foyer and second floor dedicated to the solo exhibitions of Bay Area artists and Pleasanton Art League members.
