The Harrington Gallery at the City of Pleasanton’s Firehouse Arts Center will present Flora in Focus, a floral-themed group exhibition celebrating flowers as both subject and inspiration, on view from January 9 through March 6, 2027. Now in its fourth consecutive year at the Harrington Gallery, the exhibition features approximately 100 works by 12 local artists, offering a diverse and immersive exploration of floral imagery across multiple artistic media. Live artist demonstrations will be held at the Harrington Gallery on select Saturdays.

Adding a three-dimensional element to the exhibition, collaborative Ikebana floral installations by Library and Recreation contract instructor Cindy Ting and her students will be featured in the gallery during the week of the reception (February 3 – 6, 2027). Each Ikebana arrangement will be inspired by an artwork on view, creating a dialogue between visual art and floral design.
