SUMMARY:PYTC | Cinderella Youth Edition
DESCRIPTION:The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality\, charm and elegance. Originally presented on television in 1957 starring Julie Andrews\, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella was the most widely viewed program in the history of the medium. Its recreation in 1965 starring Lesley Ann Warren was no less successful in transporting a new generation to the miraculous kingdom of dreams-come-true\, and so was a second remake in 1997\, which starred Brandy as Cinderella and Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. As adapted for the stage\, with great warmth and more than a touch of hilarity\, this enthralling fairy tale still warms the hearts of children and adults alike. \n  \nThe AM Cast performs the following dates: \nFriday\, July 17 at 2pm \nSaturday\, July 18 at 7pm \nThe PM Cast performs the following dates: \nFriday\, July 17 at 7pm \nSaturday\, July 18 at 2pm \n

SUMMARY:PYTC | Mean Girls High School Edition
DESCRIPTION:Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna\, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics\, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign\, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung. \nAdapted from Fey’s hit 2004 film\, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards.  This show took Broadway by storm and has since joined the musical in-crowd. \nMean Girls: High School Edition is rated PG-13 and contains themes and language that may be more mature than some of our other PYTC productions. The show explores topics commonly faced by teenagers\, including bullying\, peer pressure\, social dynamics\, body image\, and relationships. While adapted for student performers and audiences\, some material may not be suitable for younger children. \nWe encourage parents and guardians to use their discretion when determining whether this production is appropriate for their family. If you have specific questions about the show’s content\, please feel free to reach out to the PYTC team. \nThe Fetch Cast performs the following dates: \nFriday\, July 31 at 7pm \nSaturday\, August 1 at 7pm \nSaturday\, August 8 at 2pm \nThe Schquillz Cast performs the following dates: \nSaturday\, August 1 at 2pm \nFriday\, August 7 at 7pm \nSaturday\, August 8 at 7pm
