“WONDERS”: Magician Alex Ramon

Disney star and Ringling Bros’ famed ‘Zingmaster’ @ Firehouse for 2 shows
Pleasanton, Calif.  Pleasanton’s Firehouse Arts Center has been selected for its intimate setting to present world-renowned magician Alex Ramon in two nights of “WONDERS,” his newest show featuring “up-close” illusions and mysteries.  Tickets on sale now for Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, both performances at 8:00 p.m.

He’s been seen on national and international television, made elephants disappear, transformed men into tigers, and even made Whoopi Goldberg levitate.

Alex Ramon has mesmerized millions around the world with his innovative magic, and earned top awards and praise from his professional peers. Delightfully personable, Alex’s engaging charisma and charm while interacting with his audiences is just about worth the price of the ticket.  His magic genius, incredible showmanship, and unparalleled energy, combined with the intimate nature of “WONDERS,” makes it the Bay Area magic experience of the season.

Reserved seating tickets: $12.00 – $32.00.  Tickets: www.firehousearts.org, 925-931-4848, or at the center Box Office, 4444 Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton.  Free venue parking lot entrance on Spring Street.

Alex has earned many top awards and honors for his phenomenal magic, including the coveted Lance Burton Award, SAM Presidents Award, and the IBM Presidential Citation.  While still in his teens, the Richmond, California native was named National Champion Magician by the World Magic Seminar, and San Francisco Bay Area’s Best Stage Magician.

In 2005 he auditioned for Disney LIVE!® presents “Mickey’s Magic Show,” and went on to star around the world as the professional illusionist alongside Master Magician Mickey Mouse. For two and a half years Alex traveled the globe with the world’s most famous mouse, presenting 658 shows across four continents, and entertaining more than a million people.

At age 23, already with over a decade of experience, Alex caught the eye of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey®, and became the second youngest Ringmaster and the very first magician to hold the honored role in the 139-year history of The Greatest Show on Earth®. Starring as the Magical ‘Zingmaster,’ Alex mesmerized audiences with his incredible illusions, including disappearing elephants, levitating members of the audience, and transforming a man into a tiger, all while being surrounded by the 360-degree audience.

When Alex’s circus adventure ended, his next step was to develop his own complete magic and illusion show. ILLUSION FUSION opened in January 2012 at the Horizon Casino Resort and ran for over two years as the #1 attraction in Lake Tahoe, according to Yelp and TripAdvisor.

And now his new show WONDERS…can’t wait.
