Over the years I have worked in many mediums:  pencil, charcoal, pastels, crayons, inks, water colors from the tube as a crayon and on a palette, oil crayons, and acrylics in as many combinations as I could imagine.  I’ve added tissue, sand, rocks, lace, string and twigs.  The ability to be rigid as well as fluid, repetitive as well as mercurial, emotional as well as detached in the use of these mediums has provided endless enlightenment and entertainment.  I haven’t met an uninteresting color or a boring subject.  Currently I am working with the fluidity of water using combinations of ink, pencil and watercolor. And exploring other methods of preserving and presenting my finished pieces.
