Juice Newton Performs at the Firehouse!

Newton_2_HI_250Juice Newton, with her string of pop and country hits, her distinctive voice and performance skills, continues to captivate audiences from teens to grandparents, from the city to the country. As one music critic stated, "Newton remains one of the most riveting performers in music, rocking on stage and playing each emotion for what it's worth. And it's worth a lot."

Juice first broke onto the pop scene in 1981 with chart toppers 'Angel of the Morning' followed by the rollicking "Queen of Hearts." Soon, Juice also broke high on the country charts with the much requested love song "The Sweetest Thing" and later "Break It To Me Gently." She further defied conventional categories by winning the Grammy for Best Pop Female, the Academy of Country Music's New Female Vocalist of the Year, and a People's Choice Award.

David Burnham Returns to the Firehouse

David_Burnham_250David Burnham created the role of Fiyero in the original Los Angeles workshop production of the Tony Award-nominated, mega-hit musical WICKED, and went on to re-create the role on Broadway. He made his Pleasanton concert debut in the inaugural season of The Firehouse’s Cabaret Series, and returns this summer with his celebrated one-man show performing songs from many of his past roles along with some favorite Broadway standards as well as selections from his popular solo CD recordings.

David won the prestigious Helen Hayes Award as Best Actor for his portrayal of Fabrizio Nacarelli in the National Tour of the 6-time Tony Award winning musical The Light in the Piazza and, as a member of the original Broadway cast, performed on both The Tony Awards and Live From Lincoln Center telecasts.  Last year, he returned to New York City, starring in the new Off-Broadway show The Best Is Yet to Come - The Music Of Cy Coleman.

David first gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, he was chosen to replace Donny Osmond in the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,  after touring the country as Peter in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, opposite Ted Neeley.

"He is a force of nature and the audience loves him from start to finish."‑ San Francisco Bay Times
